It just seems so depressing, even with the translucent skirt -- as if she's already mourning the swiftly flying years and/or telling her father through song that she's preparing to join her beloved in Siberian exile.However, the most depressing thing of all:

 Is her hair CRIMPED? Oh, Keira. They didn't HAVE crimping irons in turn-of-the-20th-century Russia, and frankly, I think we all should've followed their brave example.
