This is a very nifty dress. It's grandma's crocheting work, but in a flattering, interesting way. I feel like Laura Dern had GREAT taste for a while there and then it got uneven, but she is BACK.

And it moves well. The sheer bits play like mere suggestions, rather than dominant themes. I'm into it all.

Meanwhile, Vanessa is dressed as The Rose Parade.
And I think she should have left the coat on. This does nothing for me; she's like Miss April in an American Beauty-themed calendar, which also is a thing that doesn't need to exist so thank God I made it up. And she looks uncomfortable and a little cold.
This guy popped in to make so many hair tweaks that they ended up taking a photo of him by himself. I can't tell if this is standard, or disruptive. The photographers seemed amused enough to make it a thing, so it must not happen that often. Her hair looked fine, friend! I appreciate your diligence but at a certain point go get a cold Diet Coke -- whoops, probably Coca-Cola Light over there -- and relax. (While he was up there he should have yanked her skirt back to center.)

This had a big pink bow at the waist on the runway, and I never thought I'd say this at this point in my relationship with PP Pink, but... I might miss it.
