If *The Father* is any indication, I'm guessing *The Son* is not a laugh riot, so I appreciate Laura Darn adding some visual zest to the proceedings. Christopher John Rogers's designs are generally an instant mood boost, and this one has a zippy [*Tron*](https://media.npr.org/assets/artslife/movies/2010/12/tron-legacy/wilde-hedlund%5Fwide-bb32578dc0e958ed5f1db4d655ac0174c8eccdab-s800-c85.webp?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)\-but-actually-fun feel to it. Maybe she can fuse these two and come out with a project called *The Tron*, in which a woman is stuck in a video game about generational trauma. Although in some ways, depending on how you play, that game might already exist and might be called The Sims. Happy Tuesday! It's a little early in the week for me to stop making sense, but let's go with it.
