I just love this. It's the best thing she's ever worn, possibly -- MAYBE with the exception of [an adorable Romona Keveza she wore at one of her first Grammys](../../grammys%5Fwell-played%5Flea%5Fmichele2010-02-2010). I think it's utterly wonderful. Eggplant hasn't looked this good since I fried it up and stuck it on bread with tomatoes and cheese.

Okay, she doesn't HAVE to just stand there. Skirt-flaunting is completely understandable.

I'd have loved a HINT more berry in her lip, though her earrings are unimpeachable.

I like this well enough, too, actually. It was a good weekend for her. I am not sure if flared cuffs on the jacket AND the pants were necessary? Maybe let one of them do the talking.

And that's also... well, "sweet" sound patronizing, but I mean it as a compliment. She's at the Paley Center! Nightclub Sexy would've been weird.
