This -- the runway show for the final collection that Karl Lagerfeld worked on prior to [his death a few weeks ago](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/karl-lagerfeld-has-died-02-2019/) \-- seems like it was an emotional undertaking for many involved. [I thought Fashionista's reporting on it was quite good](https://fashionista.com/2019/03/chanel-fall-2019-review?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io); apparently, Anna Wintour started the standing ovation at the end, which is all I personally hope for when I finally shuffle off this mortal coil. The good news is that, my goodness, this collection was good -- SO many fantastic coats and slouchy trousers.
