It's almost MEAN to make models walk down a staircase in runway shoes ([Valentino has done it, too](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/valentino-is-re-exploring-the-rainbow-07-2022/) \-- plenty have, and it gets me every time). Anyway: Rick Owens is one of the edgier brands that celebrities still attempt, from [Gwen Christie](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/gwendoline-christie-in-rick-owens-at-the-premiere-of-the-sandman/the-sandman-world-premiere-vip-arrivals-4?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) to [Billy Porter](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/2022-bet-awards-red-carpet/bet-awards-los-angeles-california-usa-26-jun-2022?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) to [Billie Eilish](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/folks-wore-black-to-the-grammys/64th-annual-grammy-awards-arrivals-mgm-grand-garden-arena-las-vegas-usa-03-apr-2022-63?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and then of course all 430 celebs who tried a version of [this much simpler dress](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/harpers-bazaar-icons-2022/harpers-bazaar-global-icons-portfolio-and-bloomingdales-150th-anniversary-new-york-usa-america-09-sep-2022-2?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Spoiler: It's gonna stay weird, all wispy hairy boots and drapey fabric and shruggy witchy shoulders, and I'm pretty sure we'll see a lot of it.
