I don't know if we've seen Gwyneth in a cape since Gwyneth wore The Cape. You know the one. This seems to be more of a coat -- on the runway it was not styled with whichever Dior gown GOOP has on underneath -- but it's really lovely, and so I hope she didn't take it off all night.

You can dress up a tube top with translucent ruffles, but it's still a tube top.

I also like Jaime's cloak, naturally. But I don't think the rest of her dark accessories look as good when she takes it off.

Drew wore this entire ensemble on the red carpet, and if we'd JUST ditched the hat and the boots we might be in business. The shoes look utterly ridiculous with this. Don't waste a potentially good gold dress by giving yourself gigantic peg legs.

Now THAT is a gorgeous green dress. It needs a delicately fab necklace or a statement bracelet, but... aw, man, I just noticed that the weird double-bodice is creating optical illusions that I didn't notice in some other photos. So, room to improve, I guess. SIGH.

CZJ apparently has a new Facebook show called Queen America, which sounds from the synopsis a BIT like it's Drop Dead Gorgeous-inspired? Maybe? Victoria Justice is the biggest name in it besides CZJ's, but she's only in it for one episode. Perhaps that's why CZJ got by far the better outfit. Those are not great leather pants, and the bustier inspires me even less.

I am admittedly bad at mixing patterns, but to my eye this attempt is brave but ultimately too insane. I think the skirt trying to have it two ways makes it WAY more complicated than it needed to be, for one thing, but the tones of red and green here are discordant to me and then the yellow accessories just confuse things rather than bridge the color gap. These are the items you try on together intending to wear them separately, and then get distracted.
