I appreciate how delighted Lily James appears to be by Carrie Coon's look – in fairness, it IS a good dress.

## Carrie Coon in Valentino

I don't know if I think the train is necessary – you can technically barely even see it here – but the Covered Up Front and Sexy Back is always a fun combo and this color is superior on her.

## Lily James in Custom Prada

You THINK this dress needs a steam but it's actually a pattern on the fabric – Prada calls it "pressed white velvet." I suspect this was better in person. For my money (very little), I think the real problem here is the wan little ribbon at the center; I thought it was a zipper? It just feels uncalled for.

This is a good look. She looks like the owner of an art gallery in the 1980s that sells a lot of neon sculpture.

This seems fine, but who can say, given that it was photographed in what looks like a tunnel. (Informative Caption tells me it's actually a place called "Sea Containers London," which is [a very nice hotel with a TERRIBLE NAME](https://www.seacontainerslondon.com/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).)
