My ONLY beef with this photo is that they have gone with the intentional blur (at first I thought maybe I'd messed something up, [but you can see it here on Vogue's website, too](https://www.vogue.co.uk/news/article/linda-evangelista-british-vogue-september-2022?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io#intcid=%5Fvogue-uk-bottom-recirc%5F2209ea6d-1644-4bb7-ad33-5fe55cb0c433%5Fentity-topic-similarity-v2)). The photo itself is fantastic and SO unmistakably, recognizably her. She only needed one eye visible to do it. The blur adds nothing but a distraction. If this were sharp it would be AMAZING. It's shot so intelligently, creating wonderful shapes around that iconic face.

This is also good. It's SO good. I mean, she's Linda Evangelista; she knows what she's doing. But I kind of wish they'd sent out [THIS amazing one with the 80s soap feel](https://media.vogue.co.uk/photos/62fcaf5973b457b10e4ad83b/master/w%5F1600,c%5Flimit/SEP22%5FLESM%5F03.jpg?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).

I also love this. It's joyous. This was the one where I saw it and realized what she herself acknowledged in the piece: that she wasn't ready to shoot anything but her face yet. So they worked around it, and made art.
