After Lindsay Lohan's big Netflix return in *Falling For Christmas*, she scored a two-movie deal of which I believe *Irish Wish* is the first. She's the poster actress right now for Netflix's Hallmark aspirations. Hallflix. Markflix? Anyway, the plot: "When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely." *HELLO*, spoilers, we never would have predicted that on our own!

I will say that I watched *Falling For Christmas*, which had the same director -- fun fact: she is wed to Michael Damian, *Y&R* legend and erstwhile dreamcoat-clad Joseph -- and it was... very adequate, or "adequite," [as Lindsay once famously wrote](https://www.huffpost.com/entry/on-becoming-adequite-or-w%5Fb%5F35040?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). The director said this was easy because they knew Lindsay by this point and could work to her strengths, but Lindsay describes this character as "naive" and "sweetheart" and a bookworm, and unfortunately, she was least believable in those parts of *Falling For Christmas.* Her performance was so much better BEFORE the concussion that made her nice! THAT would be writing to her strengths. Maybe movie #3 will figure that out.
