Liu Wen in Marni

I ASSUME this is Marni, since she wore it to a Marni event. And Marni bits and bobs cost about $700 at minimum, so for the price of rent in many cities, you too could own a skirt whose hemline took its inspiration from a particularly stubborn piece of bitten celery.

But this is so refreshingly regular! I like her rainbow kicks. It's nice to see a famous person wearing actual comfortable things to travel.

I love this whole look and it would be UTTERLY ABSURD on me.

I am not a fan of Chanel, generally, nor of wearing big old logos like that, but at least she's cozy.

in Valentino

This is fine. It's for an event; it's not particularly identifiably Valentino, but I enjoy that the boots look like she's a sexy spy who's going to slip out a very long dagger and use it to extract some state secrets.

And then, totally normal again. Stars: They're Just Like Us: They Don't Want To Be Cold Or Wear Super Tight Stuff On Planes, Because Why.

That's a nice cardi -- it's very Liberty to me. I also appreciate her purse loyalty.

This is a very 90s grunge travel experience.

in Levi's

And then for a Levi's event, suddenly she's in awful pants that tuck into her boots, like some sort of spokes-paratrooper. Who knew the airport would be one of her best millieux?

But not so much at airports.
