I can already tell that I desperately want people to wear all of these, because WHAT WILL I EVEN SAY. Words. This is like the most glorious section of flowers on sale at the hardware store. In a way that I mean as a compliment on the runway but which will confuse the hell out of me when, like, Alexa Chung tries to wear it to brunch.
I have never been a fan of that rosette-string thing stapled to people's boobs. I don't know why that's happening again.
Did this start out as a skirt?
Dear Emily Blunt: You're pregnant. We're happy about it. Please wear this to your baby shower just to mess with everyone. Love, Us.
And Aniston obviously should start wearing these everywhere.
I think Mary Katrantzou should start designing wallpapers.
I mean, some very rich child's nursery wants this on its walls. Like... I don't know. Whenever the Widdletons have a princess.
Pretty. I'm curious to see if/how that one is adapted -- certainly it is the most readily translatable one.
I mean, I'm at the point where I would pay Aniston to shove a basketball under her clothes and wear this.
Oy. Even Laura Ashley is like, "Too much."
More Easter baskets! This actually feels fairly accessible, too, to the teen set. Or even a Freida Pinto type, who is not a teen but probably will look 22 her whole life.
And then suddenly you have this crazy edgy pattern in the mix, which is so Zoe Saldana.
This feels like an '80s fever dream. LIke if you sniffed glue inside a Benetton in 1986.
I don't even understand how these relate to the first half.
Oh, I guess... maybe this is the stab at cohesion.
And this. I don't know that they're very SUCCESSFULLY making it cohesive -- more like, "Oh, hang on, we have to slap together the flowers and the crazies, so let's just... somebody just patch a few together and let's go get Bloody Marys."
Come on, January Jones, you know you want to.
Whoa. That shirt is quite lovely and those pants are like if the Riddler were a woman. Which might be cool, if that ever gets revisited.
It works better as a dress.
That is a cool look, but man, who could wear it without getting lost? I'd also love to see what's under the coat.
Don't belt your nipples. Just a piece of advice.
That's an intriguing pattern, but the cut could not interest me less.
I guess... I don't think this style works any better in green, but... well, okay, it works BETTER in green but it still does not SELL me on it.
So the other stuff looked like an oxford shoe, and this looks like the tassel on a loafer. I DO enjoy that.
This makes her look so broad. And trust me, this lady is not broad.
Okay, I am maybe falling in love with the shoe print a little.
But I still maintain that some of them -- AHEM -- make people look twice their natural width.
Okay, but that's just funny. In a good way. THAT is whimsy, which was totally missing from last season. Hooray for her.
