This outfit more or less tracks for a 15 year old or a 30 year old (of which MBB is one and Emma Stone is the other). It's very carefully head-to-toe styled, and she looks nice, but it does still come off a LITTLE costumey on her? Or perhaps just heavier-handed than it needs to be? I was about to say that I like it better when she gets to be relaxed, but I don't actually know when the last time was that we saw her styled in a chill way. But I can't fault the effort and thought, and the fact that she's not naked.

However, that skirt looks absurd from the back. That exposed zipper is some slop, also.

The black carpet was really an egregious choice when they were giving everyone black shoes, by the way. Also, her little jacket is okay, but the rest of this looks for all the world like it cost under $40 -- which is great when it actually DID, but not so much when it's like $400 per piece.
