## Regina King

Regina's is a classic scrolldown -- it started out so well, but then you look hard at those shorts, and they're basically... fringed with yarn both at the knees AND right at her groin? The closer you look, the worse they get. To call them a Monet would be such an insult to Monet that he would actively haunt you for it.

From the front, those look like ski boots. I know they are not WHOLLY shaped that way, but it's undeniable. And her jacket thing here is like if Mickey Mouse ears had a very large baby with two different marching bands.

Agathe is in Titane, which briefly captivated Twitter recently (and is not, sadly, a movie about a very small Titanic). She looks like she's going to an Outlander convention where people design their own outfits for Black Jack Randall.

This coat is swallowing her whole. "What is she hiding?" you wonder? Well...

... it's a reasonable cropped shirt and some unfortunate shorts, which together make a decent argument for leaving the coat closed.

Backpack straps, a zipper with a pull as big as a padlock, a chain at her pelvis, and a bow. Having ONE of those things would be enough. Having NONE of those things would be optimal. I didn't even mention the ruffles. It's so much weird in one outfit.

Seeing her here, one of the brand Queen Bees (and in a reasonable outfit), makes me realize Emma Stone passed up on this. I'm sure it's because she's shooting something, but I enjoy imagining that it's because she was like, "Ugh, NO, I have a baby and this super isn't worth it."

Is this dress meant to be a postcard? (It does have a drawstring at the bottom, so perhaps it's more... a gift bag from the souvenir shop at whatever resort this is.)

This seems normal-ish. I am not feeling the pants, but the heeled shoes are intriguing -- it's like he's about to dance the pachanga at the end-of-summer show.

She has a deal with LV and they dressed her for the Met Gala, and I feel like... her denim suit is both one of the better pieces in this slideshow, and also kind of a letdown when you are basically in the family. She got off easy but also should have gotten more? It's a conundrum.
