Maren Morris didn't attend [the CMTs on Sunday night](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/the-spangles-sparkles-feathers-fringe-and-hats-of-the-2024-cmts-04-2024/) \-- she's out promoting her children's book, allegedly, but being *at* the CMTs would also promote it; I think this has more to do with how [she kinda hates country music's vibe right now](https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/maren-morris-skips-the-2024-cmt-awards-after-exit/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) and I don't blame her for skipping the event. And she wore a cute, red carpet-y dress *anyway*, so we all win.

This is also cute:

I always enjoy it when celebs have a book tour and they dress in what they and their stylist believes will be an authorial vibe. You just need some reading glasses and we'll be all set!
