# Margot Robbie Brought a Little Black Magic to the Gotham Awards

Team Robbie had Prada remake [a 1964 Barbie outfit called Black Magic Ensemble](https://www.instagram.com/p/C0LAgH9rW0j/?img%5Findex=2&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), which an Instagram commenter said -- and I believe everything I read, obviously -- would have come out sooner, if not for the SAG-AFTRA strike. I love the notion that there's a whole rack of these in reserve in Andrew Mukamal's studio, waiting in dust bags.

They chose thematically, as a horde of other folks summoned their own versions of black magic on this evening, some with greater success than others. Three cheers for Rachel McAdams repping *Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret*, which was supposedly an utter delight and I'd love to see it sneak into the awards conversation.
