When we last saw this outfit, [Kaia Gerber was escorting it down the Chanel fake-outdoor runway](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/chanel-fall-2018/infoimaxtree-com-6220?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), clad in hot pink gloves and overall styled like a 1980s lady staggering home at 5 a.m. after *rather* a night in Manhattan. It was a little wonky, and silly, and costumey, but if you imagined it inside that moment -- even if that wasn't the intent -- it had its place. Here, where it is asking to be taken very seriously, I can't do it. The straps fit better, but that's about it; the extra napkin for her abdomen, like a veil at a funeral for its favorite pair of Spanx, is just absurd. I can't behold Grief Groin with a straight face, and by the looks of hers, she knows it.
