Marion Cotillard
This is an extremely pretty Chanel, and so devoid of befuddling furbelows that I keep thinking I'm being tricked, and it'll turn out that her hair is wearing pants or something.
The angle of this photo is unfortunate. I can't tell if it's just making me THINK the jacket is cropped, or if it actually IS, and perhaps too much so with the cuffed jeans. This feels more like what someone would throw together as a Marion Cotillard costume from their own closet, rather than something actual Marion Cotillard would wear. Maybe, in a rare twist, SHE threw this together from her closet.
This is a swashbuckling look. I wonder if she borrowed the coat, or if it was originally part of the aesthetic. The effect is a bit like she was trying to escape a ball in disguise but her pants caught and pulled off and her dress unforled and she's like, "Well.... okay, busted."
