This is another issue of... beyond me not understanding the pants, I don't comprehend the two pieces TOGETHER. The swingy blouse and the billowy swingy pants do not play nicely together. They do not want to be in the same class, much less sharing a desk.

I also think part of the weirdness is her jewelry. The waistlace (it's not really a belt) is drawing my attention even more to the trousers ,and just does not seem to need to be there. Wasn't Coco Chanel the one who said to look in the mirror before you leave and remove one thing? I hate to quote that old Nazi, but... maybe Chanel should listen to its founder on that one (and only that one).

The pants, to me, look even worse when she makes it clear they ARE pants and not merely a gigantic denim skirt.

And, in case the jewelry and the logo all over her blouse wasn't enough, Chanel has stamped its credit all over her behind. I sincerely would not have wanted to be associated with these. I might have spite-stamped them with a fake Gucci logo or something, just to throw people off the scent. You could make three other pairs of jeans out of the material in this ONE set.
