I totally get why she chose this dress for this event. It's fantastic in motion. Its colors -- and slight metallic sheen -- totally recall Spider-Man's iconic suit, which you can really tell in this shot from her Insta:

It's young and fun and floaty. I totally get it. HOWEVER, riddle me this, Batman (shit, wrong superhero. Whatever):

Does this or does this not look as if lace leggings are secretly involved? They are NOT, but they feel like they are and that illusion gave me quite a fright first thing. We're all in a delicate place right now! DON'T DO THIS TO ME, MARISA!
