# Maura Higgins is Bombshelling on the New York Sidewalks

In *Love Island* parlance, a bombshell is a man or woman who enters the show at any point after it begins -- so, not one of the first 10-12 contestants. They're brought on to disrupt whatever is already cooking, hence "bombshell" becoming something of a verb here as well. Maura was apparently a legendary bombshell on *Love Island UK*'s fifth season, and has parlayed that into hosting and guest gigs on variety of shows, and is currently on *The Traitors*. All of which is to say, I think Maura is applying Big Bomshell Entrance Energy to the pavement of New York City. Here, she is dressed as Catwoman attending a branding meeting to take her from feline vigilante into the influencer space...
