She is so lovely and this is so awful. The longer I look at it, the madder I get. The styling is poor, the fit is poor, even the color is too sharp on her. A failure on every level. I AM HEATED.
Natalie Portman in Schiaparelli

Meanwhile, Natalie Portman got Daniel Roseberry to take the very cool top of this ghastly outfit and build a skirt for it. And no, it's not perfect, and yes, she looks a bit like a top hat with a sea porcupine attached to her, but it's at least INTERESTING.
with Charles Melton

Charles Melton's proportions are all funky, too. His theme is DRAPEY. Maybe he got wind of Julianne's sack and decided she shouldn't be the only one swimming in something.

How much time do you think it takes to get that one lock to land just-so?
Gaten Matarazzo

This is unexpected, and kind of fun.
Gabriel Chung

He is in the movie, and Charles Melton maybe should've called him.

I want to understand why he folded his lapel inward and put the pin on THAT side. I'm sure it's designed to do that...??? But I am leaning toward Marinara Accident.
Elizabeth Yu

She's in the movie, too. If it gets Oscar buzz, she's gonna have a BIG winter from getting to go to events where it's nominated. I would imagine things will get a wee less twee?
Piper Curda

Piper has three other acting siblings, and I hope none of them borrows this.
Kate Berlant

Very effective, and a bit of a 90s vibe.
Will Ferrell

He is one of the producers! Will Ferrell is doing interesting things snarky -- he finances cool projects AND owns part of LAFC. He and Adam McKay produced Succession, although then they had a big falling-out; McKay did not do this. I would love to see Ryan Murphy take on THAT Feud. (Initially I misremembered this as Danny McBride. Different Mc!! Sorry Danny.)
Sophie Mas

This looks warm. She ALSO has her jacket turned in, although not the top lapel. Are there lapel trends I simply do not know about?
Xochitl Gomez

Well that shirt is hideous. She should donate it to her hairdresser to use as a drape.
Jane Seymour

I like that necklace SO much better than her butt jewelry. (Those are hard to find now; I think she's not selling it anymore, or at least branching out. Her website seems to want to sell dusters and art prints instead.)
