Mayor Lavon Hayes is BACK: The CW Superhero Shows at Comic-Con

Cress Williams

I dare anyone to look at this photo and not realize that they, too, are beaming. Black Lightning did a sizzle reel rather than a full pilot, and I guess may not exist in the same DC Comics world that the other four CW shows do, so you'll have to wait for a fever dream to get Grant Gustin and Cress Williams and Jesse L. Martin and Victor Garber all in the same scene. BUT. I'm thrilled it's coming and the buzz is great, and Cress Williams friggin' oozes charm. I'm IN.

Caity Lotz

And now let's get to the captain of the Wave Rider, aka the ship on Legends. I... assume the rigors of time travel on her show are what caused Caity Lotz to grab something that looks left over from that Astronaut Wives show. Or, worse, like Banana Republic trying to design for it.

Candice Patton

A much fresher take on a patterned suit. Last season of Flash was... not great. But it must feel very nice, as an actor, to have it now be canon that if anything happens to your character EVERY SINGLE LIFE WILL BE RUINED because you are All That's Good And Pure.

Willa Holland

We have seen that shirt before, and I just have to accept that I'm not going to place it. (Prada? I don't even know.) Regardless, none of this is great.

Emily Bett Rickards

Nor is any of this. She looks like a really perky high schooler who wants to teach your kids how to play tennis.

Danielle Panabaker

She seems overly formal, but maybe she had this in her closet and was like, "Screw it. If I wait, I'll never wear it."

Stephen Amell

"Yes, as you can see, I'M RIGHT HERE YOU GUYS. HOW DID YOU MISS ME."

Katie Cassidy

It's a LACE-FRONT CARGO ROMPER. Thank you for playing this week's edition of Fashion Mad Libs

I wish I'd gotten a better picture of this, as it might not be that bad. SHE is certainly delightful.

Melissa Benoist

The thing that interests me here is the tattoo of a bicycle on her foot. I'd like to hear THAT story.

Katie McGrath

This is an amazing collection of things that don't work.

Chris Wood

I thought he left Supergirl because the atmosphere was poisoned so that he couldn't survive. OR DID HE. Or, since The CW really loves him, maybe they just had him come by and they'll stick him on one of the others.

Mehcad Brooks

I think he just came back from whittling a piccolo on a glamping trip.

Supergirl's cast

But no Chyler Leigh? WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN? (Probably nothing, given Arrow himself didn't come either. But you know. I like her on that show.) *** Someone said her father in law passed away, which is super sad and of course she would be off dealing with that. Poor Chyler and family.

Maisie Richardson-Sellers

She's on Legends, and man, I wish they would let her smile more on that show. For a show that's found a nice goofy sense of humor, Amaya is so stern-faced. LET THE LADY GLOW. (But not in those shoes.)

The Legends crew

Victor Garber, showing them all how it's done. Just the way nature intended.

Grant Gustin

Kid, call Victor. He can help.
