Tina Fey and Lindsay Lohan
I'm happy to see this reunion and I suspect most people who were full-grown adults who worked with Lilo back in the day are happy to see her happy and healthy (as far as we can tell). Her leaving the industry has been good for her. (Although I think she's very good in the Walmart Mean Girls ad; Lilo's level of on-camera charisma was never her problem.) I feel like Tina here is commenting on the fact that Lindsay just had a baby. (Just judging from body language.)
Lindsay Lohan in Alexandre Vauthier
A caveat that the lighting is weird in some of these shots. I think Linds looks really good in this. I don't love the dress exactly -- I think it would be more elegant without the waist cut-outs. But this is good on her.
Tina Fey in Versace
This is surprisingly CHIPPER on Tina, who perhaps was just thriving because she didn't have to host the Globes last night. I like it! Although I feel like the belt is maybe a bit much. (The belt is part of the runway look.)
Jane Krakowski and Tina Fey
Jenna Maroney and Liz Lemon, together again! I hope we're soon to see the much anticipated third installment in the Rural Juror series.
Tina Fey and Rajiv Surendra
KEVIN G! (He now has a super successful YouTube channel and sounds like a highly creative and artistic person.)
Daniel Franzese
You go, Glen Coco!
Jaquel Spivey
Jaquel Spivey plays Damian in this version; I VERY much dig this caftan moment on him. We need more caftans on men.
Angourie Rice in Cucculelli Shaheen
She plays Cady -- the Lilo part -- in this iteration. This is pretty!
Megan Thee Stallion
Megan looks like a sexy mermaid in this and I can't imagine she'd be mad about that comparison. Also, this seems like a good place to note that I find her VERY FUNNY in her Planet Fitness ads, perhaps more than most people. I don't know, she's just so charming!
Christopher Briney
Behold, Aaron Samuels 2.0!
Busy Philipps
I LOVE this dress (although I am not a glove lover). Busy is playing the Amy Poehler "Cool Mom" part in this version. Tina loves her but -- and I realize this is a hot take -- I feel like Busy is the weak link in Girls 5Eva and just needs to take that whole performance down about 20 percent. Thank god I was provided an opportunity to express that hot take about a project we're not technically covering in this post. THAT SAID, she's good casting for this particular role and will probably be good in that part. (My other hot take is that Busy has never been as subtle and brilliant as she was in Freaks and Geeks but I think that is still in there somewhere and she should try a drama.)
Reneé Rapp in Christian Siriano
This is sincerely going in MY Burn Book. Is this...performance art? Meant to draw out the mean girls on the internet? I SHAN'T TAKE THE BAIT. (She plays Regina George.)
Rachel Dratch
Dratch looks like your cool rich aunt whose apartment is full of AMAZING doodads and expensive lamps and that is one of my greatest possible compliments.
Bebe Wood
She plays Gretchen Weiners. I'm not sure --does this feel like something the Toaster Strudel heiress would wear? I don't understand what's happening with her skirt and I wish someone had talked her out of those tights. Overall, this is VERY 80s. So...perhaps!
Auli'i Cravalho in Ferragamo
I DO NOT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LIGHTING. She is taking on Janis, the Lizzy Caplan role, and I feel like...that could be VERY good. This is fine! Her pink hair is fun.
Avantika Vandanapu
She plays the Amanda Seyfried part and I always love a cape on the red carpet. I do think some people at this premiere are SO FANCY for what is a goofy update of a classic comedy. This isn't about her as much as it is a general note but: What happened to people not going FULL GOWN to every premiere?
Jon Hamm and Anna Osceola
Jon Hamm -- another fave of Tina and can you blame her? -- plays the PE coach, which should be fun. Anna looks charming.
