More neutrals, this time on the Sweeney Todd leads. I have not read very positive things about Groban's vocal take on his role? She generally got raves, but overall I don't think it was a slam-dunk revival. Annaleigh looks cute but what I would give for a colorful shoooooe.

She was in the "Into the Woods" revival. This is the "loose fit" version of Jodie's, and indeed it looks... floppy.

Katy is an actress, a producer, and, oh, no big deal, just A PARALYMIPAN. Ahem: "Sullivan is a four-time US champion in the 100 m. She was among the first bilateral above-knee amputees to compete in the Paralympics in ambulatory track when she ran in the London 2012 Paralympic Games, setting a new American record of 17.33 seconds and finishing 6th in the World." Hot damn.

So, apparently this play is a two-hander with Laura Linney, but they didn't nominate Laura, which has to hurt. Also though imagine what a Murderer's Row this category would be if LL were added to it. Hecht s my least favorite of those performers in GENERAL, though I have sadly not seen any of these shows, and my feelings about her outfit mirror that.

He looks dapper, but man, he started -- and doubled down on -- the WEIRDEST Twitter thread in which he complained about how much he hated Women Talking, for reasons that eventually made it seem like he did not in fact actually watch Women Talking. As people point out, he seems not to have understood that it was a true story about Mennonites, a fact he then blames on the movie not being clear about this?!? He just keeps going.

I don't think I've ever seen him with a mustache before, and he reminds me so much of young Lionel Richie with it. Where is Hello: The Musical, I ASK YOU.

Ben Platt looks actually mostly sort of fine! Who knew. I have notes, but it's been worse. Micaela now adds to the long list of Tony nominees and/or winners in The Gilded Age, as she played a shopgirl in Season 1.
