Ugh, I love this entire idea. She has really knocked it out of the park the past few days. (And I stupidly forgot to download a photo where you could see that the lining of Harry's coat actually coordinates with her dress, which feels like the first time in Harry's life that his Blue Suit contributed! This is going to be a hot topic at the next meeting of the International Blue Suit Enthusiastics.)

Why yes, I did download several of basically the same pic, but it's just VERY CINEMATIC OKAY? One of you on Twitter noted that somewhere, Queen Maxima is VERY into this, and I agree. (Maybe Meghan's Mystery Stylist for this weekend was MAXIMA.)

This is just very glam; I love the combo of Extremely Modest But Also Dramatic, prsonally. (And of course that tiny Gabriella Hearst bag is so cute. I can't even get worked up about the beige shoes. They pretty much work here. [I have Shoe Exhaustion, okay?])

I've always really, really liked this Catherine Walker coat. (We last saw it at Christmas 2018; I decided Kate wore it because Meghan said she loved it then.)

Just as an Informative GFY, as we admire Kate, everyone arrived in separate cars, which I believe is the usual for this event. (Especially since everyone is presumably coming from different places.)

"ISN'T THIS NICE TO ALL BE TOGETHER?" I imagine Edward saying here. (I read that everyone said hello more or less like normal people, but Wills seemed cranky. [My source here is the Daily Mail I KNOW, so if any of you actually watched this whole thing, feel free to weigh in.])

Sophie looks very retro in this, and I wil say that Edward's got a very jazzy tie/pocket square situation going on, so good for him! (Edward being so seemingly congenial to everyone warms my heart.)
