I just enjoyed this photo. You know I cannot resist jovial pointing!

HIDEOUS!!!!!! (Everytime a royal goes to Australia -- or the Olympics do -- I want to visit Australia too. [I realize it's an entire continent, but what can I say? I'm ambitious!]

I truly believe that, in their spare time, Harry and Meghan spend a lot of time making high pitched noises at various dog-related Instagram accounts. (I believe Meghan here is meeting this very good dog.)

Meghan's Necklace

That macaroni necklace she's wearing -- gold painted pasta is VERY regal -- was the gift of a little boy at the walkabout who showed up holding a sign that said, "I MADE YOU A NECKLACE." You guys! I love him. Look at him! He's wearing a diamond ring and he's dressed like an airline pilot and his mom is in a Breton striped shirt and his baby sister is dressed like a princess, and I love their whole family. The fact that Meghan wore this necklace for the rest of the walkabout is just...so sweet.

Speaking of sweet, I think Harry is about to eat that baby's fat little feet!

And this girl FREAAAAAKED OUT with joy when he came over and talked to her. (I almost love the look of ABSOLUTE DELIGHT on the face of the woman with her even more.)  They had a good day.

"Wait. Meg. I thought YOU were unplugging the panini maker. DAMMIT. We better call Kate and have her check when she goes over to water our plants."

This photo -- which I believe was snapped during the Sportsball portion of the day -- just makes me laugh. (I know we talk about other celebrities that she resembles, but here she sort of reminds me of Jennifer Garner?)

I TOTALLY agree that you've got to wear flats on the sand, but I'm also concerned that Meghan's feet are already killing her. (I know a lot of people are really Over wedges -- I'm NEVER going to be Over wedges and I don't care! -- but this is when a wedge really helps a lady out, when your life is such that you are on your feet AND kinda fancy. Sometimes you NEED a wedge.)

Informative Caption tells me that H & M took "an an iconic Melbourne tram to South Melbourne beach, where they [joined] volunteers and school children from the local BeachPatrol group. Here, Their Royal Highnesses will learn about efforts to keep Port Phillip Bay beaches and foreshores clear of litter to reduce the negative impact on the marine environment." That's a good cause! (I also think they're both privately disappointed that, unlike previous trips to Oz, these lovely lifeguards are not wearing their Speedos.)
