Kate's feet, Meghan's feet

This photo just makes me laugh. They're obviously not the exact same shoe -- Meghan's heels are taller and skinnier (they're these Manolos, while I think Kate is wearing her old favorite Pradas) --but they're SO similar. Great minds.*

*Our smart friends at What Would Kate Do have told me that they're actually by Rupert Sanderson! Thanks, ladies!

Talk about a presenting a coordinated front. If Kate's ensemble looks familiar, it's because Kate has worn it before -- almost three years ago to the the day, in fact. I think I prefer the hat she wore previously. This one is fine for a change -- and it looks like it was rainy in London today -- but it feels so heavy.

This whole look feels VERY "This Is My First Official Engagement With The Queen And I Must Be Extremely Appropriate And That Is Why Kate and I Are Wearing Matching Shoes." Her coat is by Amanda Wakley, and you can see it sort of better here, where we see all angles because it's being sold to us. It's fine? I like how crisp the collar is, but it looks half a size too big for her. (I suspect she's in hardcore Bridal Workout Mode right now, not that she needs to be, but it's A Thing That Happens.)

"Actually, I am the one who is meant to coordinate best with Kate. I feel like MANY PEOPLE got their wires crossed on the Royal Women Wardrobe Coordination and Conversation WhatsApp chat this week but it's FINE."

"Let's hold hands, poppet. It looks so cozy and nice. We do it all the time in private! No one will care! Come on!"

"Yes, my darling crumpet, that sounds entirely pleasant but I CAN'T because it seems I don't have enough hands. THIS is why Meghan never brings a clutch. I can't hold a posey and a bag AND your hand at the same time. Hang on. Let me...see if I can renegotiate this."
