# Meghan at the ACU

This will be Her Royal Highness’s first official visit with the ACU in her new role as Patron of the international organisation which is dedicated to building a better world through higher education. During the visit, which will be held at City, University of London one of the ACU’s 500 university members. The Duchess will meet students from the Commonwealth now studying in the UK, for whom access to university has transformed their lives. By bringing universities, academics and students together from around the world, the ACU helps to advance knowledge, promote understanding, broaden minds and improve lives. Wearing Givenchy Worn Before

She wore the coat wholly buttoned in December, from what I can tell on that baclony shot; here, obviously, she probably can't. I think the issue with that is that the coat is cut in such a SPECIFIC and almost geometric way that flapping open kind of spoils the effect. It also makes the shoulders bunch up and look hunchy. It's possible if she'd taken off the coat, the outfit underneath would have felt -- at least in style -- a bit more suited to the crowd, but the royals rarely DO take off their coats. I think it needed contrast or lightness.

From the front for a second I thought it was a cap-sleeve coat and that the rest of the sleeve came from the dress. You'll be relieved to know that is not the case.

We still need to have a long chat with whomever does her makeup. Her blush is so heavy here, again, and almost looks like it didn't get blended? Honestly, sometimes it catches my eye and makes me think it's higher on the left side of the photo than the right. It's odd. And I don't even think she NEEDS it.

"It ate your ENTIRE PAPER? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AWAKE?" (I love that these women went with color and pattern, and also, I keep seeing Meghan in this heavy outfit and wondering if she is HOT AS HELL. I often think that with Kate's coat-dresses, too. How do they not sweat up a storm?)
