# Meghan Celebrates the 4th of July With Serena at Wimbledon

This is fun! Meghan had a surprise event -- to me, not to her; I'm sure this was on her calendar for ages -- at Wimbledon today, ahead of Master Archie's christening on Saturday. She and two of her college friends, Genevieve Hillis and Lyndsay Roth ([per Omid Scobie, here for the christening](https://twitter.com/scobie/status/1146820545029332993?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io); maybe godparents? Who knows!) came out to watch Serena. (It was thoughtful of Harry and Meghan to set this christening for a long weekend in the United States, making it extra convenient for her American loved ones to make it over. Yes, Meghan, I WILL come over and go to Wimbledon with you during my four-day weekend.)

They're not in the royal box -- Serena was on Court 1, while Nadal v. Kyrgios was on Centre Court -- so it's more of a casual look for Meghan today, which I always think she does very well. (Her friends look great too!) She's in her[ old faithful Madewell hat](https://shopstyle.it/l/5mge?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), a blazer by L'Agence ([which is currently on very good sale](https://shopstyle.it/l/5mgG?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)), some jeans that I haven't seen an ID on, and [these VERY cute glasses](https://www.finlayandco.com/henrietta-9431?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Meghan has great sunglasses game.
