Here's a close-up of the pattern; that brilliant blazer really did transform this dress, it's kind of impressive. It kind of reminds me of a more high-fashion version of Kate's Suzannah dress that I love and we never get to see, and now I just want them to wear these two dresses at the same event.

Also: you cannot tell so much from this pic, but Lucy Turnbull IS wearing a red jumpsuit, which seems like a bold sartorial move.

As if I'd let you go without a look at her bag. Which seems PERFECT for this event: Not a crossbody, so it doesn't do anything weird to her outfit; not a tiny handle that's sort of hard to negotiate/annoying to hold all the time; and not a clutch, which she doesn't seem to like WHICH IS FINE. (It's Roland Mouret. It's a REAL nice bag.)
