This look is very pleasing to my eye. Good trench, simple dress, patterned shoes, and a very very good bag (it's Victoria Beckham and sold out while I was writing this post). Very Professional But Not Dull.

Here's a better shot of the shoe; thank you for being on top of your game, Press Association Photographer. You knew what I needed. Bonus points for a good look at her earrings. Per the ladies at Meghan's Mirror, without whom I would be lost, they are these, and they are VERY cool. You know how I'm always lately wailing about getting my earholes re-opened? Last night, I was on the phone with Fug Friend Carrie and I'd had a glass of wine and I just SHOVED some earrings through my old holes. (It's impossible to say "old holes" without sounding indelicate.) The earrings in question had REALLY sharp and straight posts and I just STABBED them in there. My point is threefold: (a) human beings are weird, (b) I'm a great multitasker, (c) now I'm REALLY in the market for some new earrings.
