Fun fact! Thandie's husband, Ol Parker, wrote and directed this movie. The dress makes me think of the A-ha "Take On Me" video. Honestly, her daughters look awesome; the one on the right is in such a good shirt. The whole sparkles + mini + fashion sneaks is terribly cool.

He plays Young Pierce in the movie. My question is, do they dye his hair black? Not that Pierce Brosnan couldn't have had golden brownish blonde hair as a lad, but... he totally didn't, and I think a dark-haired dashing Young Pierce would read better. Facially it might not be terrible casting, but that is a tall order.

He plays Young Colin. I am really not feeling this one, casting-wise, although obviously it's going to come down to what they are like in motion. I wonder if they cast younger guys who also cannot sing very well. Like, what if Young Pierce suddenly has a super voice and Regular Pierce had to invent a tragic backstory in which his instrument got damaged in a tragic sports-cheering accident.
