The Prabal Gurung Instagram pointed out that several of the women they dressed are wearing "upcycled" silk -- I don't what it's been upcycled from, or what that exactly means, but it's cool to see how many designers are working on making this more sustainable. Regardless: She looks amazing.

W.O.W. This necklace is by TASAKI Atelier, the creative director of which is actually also Prabal. (I believe he did almost all the jewelry in this slideshow.) This is major.

Let me share the information about this amazing jewelry directly from Quannah's Instagram: "The jewelry was handmade by @antelope_women_designs , and it followed theme perfectly. Made with Earth Elements that my people used for millennia, Dentalium shells, Porcupine quills, and Tanned/Smoked hide. The piece was put together so fast and it was beyond what I could’ve imagined and I’m honored. The beadwork included Tipis and traditional colors, to make me feel less alone and in a way surrounded by my community. A HUGE Mahsi’choo to you Lenny❤️ the Traditional Lakota dress that’s showcased in the exhibit had the same exact earth elements that was used for the jewelry. So yea, on theme this whole look was a huge collab with everyone." Lenise Omeasoo, the bead artist, who made this jewelry has a really interesting and beautiful Instagram as well, including this fascinating reel of her making these pieces.

Kiki told Vogue that Prabal wanted to make her something inspired by her movie roles, a dress that was "tender and sweet but with some strength." This is one of those dresses that I saw in the background the entire night and kept thinking, "WHO IS THAT!?!?!" Well, now I know! It's great on her.
