Kristen Wiig

This is a Stella McCartney that she altered (the longer version had a peplum, I think, and I am SO TIRED of that word). The hue on her is amazing, and the muted shoe color works well too. She's been wearing a lot of Stella lately, so I guess this is how McCartney returned the favor. I love that it's got beige UNDERNEATH it, as if Stella was like, "Fine, it's in there SOMEWHERE as a security blanket, happy now?"

Ginnifer Goodwin

I actually think this dress is great on Ginnifer, but [insert the usual complaint about her sourface and how her hair is wrong for it]. We may need a safe word for it. Jessica and I use ALTOIDS for when we're about to make the same old complaints and we want to spare the word count. So: ALTOIDS.

Katharine McPhee

This might be really beautiful. It might be a knockout...

Katharine McPhee

... or, it might be shoving her boobs up high enough that they began to find a sideways escape hatch, and her hair might look like she sprinted there in the wind. I can't decide.

Kristen Bell

I'm not ... hmm. It's not a BAD dress. At any other event we might be like YAAAAAY, ORANGE, but it's suffering a bit in comparison with everything else around it. But hey, it fits, and she looks totally classy.

Eva Mendes

Other pictures made this look redder, but against the carpet it seems to be orange so I'm going with it. Also, while I don't mind the cut of the dress in theory, in practice I am REALLY over people gluing sparklies to a bodice like it's construction paper in a pre-school classroom.

Met Ball Fugs and Fabs: Oranges
Can I say again how much I love the Met Ball? Three green gowns, three yellow ones (that I remember), and five -- five! -- orange ones. Even Kristen Wiig got on the color wheel, y'all! Hollywood, why are you so BORING the rest of the year? [Photos: Getty]
