This looked fantastic on her. I think perhaps we didn't get to it until now because I knew Jessica loved it, and she knew I loved it, and so we kept assuming the other person had written about it already. Oops. It's a phenomenal fit and color, and I love how simple she kept absolutely everything. It's Calvin Klein, which does not surprise me -- very evocative of the brightly colored body-skimming sheaths he likes to do (see: Emma Stone in coral at her first Golden Globes; Kerry Washington in a similarly sorbet-ish hue at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, which we didn't feature because I have a mental block on her, but for the record it was a little baggy and her lips matched it too well and it creeped me out). Anyway: divine. Might've been one of my very favorites of the night, actually, even though it's so much simpler than we usually crave at this event.

Every time I see Lana, I think of how much she looks like Emma Watson. Then Jessica pointed out that she ACTUALLY looks like someone who went to her plastic surgeon with a photo of Emma Watson and said, "This is how I want to be." Anyway, this is... fine? The dress is pretty enough. The cape was never going to look as cool as Gwyneth's did at the Oscars, though, which feels like it should heretofore be the bar to reach if you're going to deploy one. And her onmipresent Serious Face... Sigh. She looks a little like a magician's assistant doing the walk of shame.

Why, Lemon Breeland, whither your citrus-y locks? I'm guessing she's enjoying not having to do any blonde upkeep during the Hart of Dixie hiatus (which hopefully will not be permanent). This, I might really have liked, except I keep getting distracted by the giant seams that encase her torso in a diamond shape. They're not really adding anything to her nor to the outfit; they're just... there.

I just wanted to go here one more time. Because LOOK AT SJP'S DRESS. It underlines that this is SO MUCH BETTER. Also, she and John make such a great couple. To be blunt -- HA HA SEE WHAT I DID THERE -- I really, really hope they stay together and make hordes of adorable and talented babies and then start buying each other diamonds so legendary that they are named after each other. Because since Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, nobody really DOES that anymore. There is no Pitt Diamond. No Trump Ruby. No Cruise Emerald. Come on, Krasinski. Step it up.
