(Photo by Theo Wargo/Getty Images For US Weekly) So, why didn't this -- which I think must be an homage; there is a black CdG outfit I saw on instagram that I can't find now -- impress the way Rihanna's did? Part of it comes down to Katy herself, I think. She looked uncomfortable in it. Some of the photos of her trying to wrangle it were awkward. Rihanna's was also architecturally complicated, but she made it look like a thrill ride to wear, and Katy just seemed bogged down.
