Apparently, this dress's connection to the Catholic imagination lies in the piece of scripture embroidered in it, which is Selena's personal favorite. It reads, "A woman who fears the Lord is a woman who shall be praised." I have... thoughts on that, in general; I am not a theologian in the least, but I had to pick a piece of The Bible to hold dear to my heart, it would not be that one. At all. But to each her own. This dress, however, should fear every worst-dressed list around. It is AWFUL. It is GHASTLY. It is a putrid piece of tailoring

WEARING COACH
It just hangs there, managing -- despite being CUSTOM -- to be hellaciously unflattering and also look as if it's gently studded with rabbit droppings. SUPER. Let's pretend those were in the manger and call it a theme?

It's also vital to acknowledge what a failure of styling this was. Her spray tan is so aggressive that it apparently got her lips, too.

Letitia, of Black Panther fame, also got sucked into the Coach orbit. And while hers is not as SHOCKINGLY bad as Selena's, it is awfully confused, a woeful pastiche of ideas from Louis Vuitton and Valentino and whatever genius decided that a mesh turtleneck should be a thing. She's giving this oomph and dignity, and it doesn't deserve her good graces.

But seriously, let's bounce back to this. When your client famously had a kidney transplant, WHY are you hellbent on making her look like a consumptive heroine? WOW, I AM CRANKY.
