I realize that Kim, as ever, continues to look more and more computer-generated and less like a flesh person. But I also think she looks undeniably beautiful here. When she walked the carpet on E!, it looked really glamorous, and for her this is actually RESTRAINED. Simple, even. It's practically austerity.

This is really pretty stunning. I don't love how the slit is incorporated -- it feels interruptive to me, honestly -- but I can't help being impressed by how intricate it is while still appearing to be gossamer.

And the back is very arresting. It's allegedly inspired by a stained-glass window, which is... honestly, that almost feels ret-conned, like Donatella made it first and slapped a connection on it later.

From this angle it DOES seem rather more naked and nipple-y. Rarely is Gigi Hadid the one in the most peril of exposing herself.

WEARING GARETH PUGH X CHROME HEARTS
This is a huge step up from the black silly-string catsuit of last year (which was another Alexander Wang crime of clothing). Honestly, this is sort of amusing and campy to me. It's very Dark Priestess, like she's rising from the erotic depths of Kylo Ren's soul to make him the Lady Vader life partner he craves. But the bodice seems a tad too much like plastic that actually might ripple and crack tonight.

From the back it's VERY dramatic. What looked like hair clips from the front are actually ROPES that extend all the way down? That is potentially perilous to her spine health. I also think Madonna may have looked at this and asked Gaultier for her money -- real, or emotional currency -- back.
