I am enraged that Joan did not actually just wear one of her old Alexis Morell Carrington Colby Dexter Dexter Rowan costumes to this. (Also, one of our photo services captioned her as LIZA MINNELLI. How very dare you!) (Also, per the Daily Mail [I know], she claims she IS in costume as Alexis but this isn't an iconic Alexis costume so...I still kind of object.)

I mean, this is absurd and yet she looks amazing. The magic of Naomi Campbell.

I actually loved this but I suspect I am alone on this island. FINE. MORE COCONUTS FOR ME. (I'm tired.)

This kind of a hoot to me, to be honest. It's some real Priscilla Presley realness. I hate the shoes, but I also don't know what shoes I would have suggested, so....(maybe some really ridiculous boots, to be honest).

Let's all everyone wears sneakers to everything now. (She generally is a real Jeans and Tee Shirt sort of person, so those shoes are also very on brand.)

Giambattista Valli must have been excited when the theme for this Met Gala was announced. "At last! It's our time! CALL EMMA," they said.
