Would this be more glamorous without the visible boob cups? To me, yes. Otherwise, I am SO tickled to see her in a huge dress with a loud hue.

I love when a photographer is stuck having to tilt the camera to get the whole dress in frame (and still can't quite do it).

This is also quite good. I keep forgetting these two are engaged (and I read somewhere that he has a LOT of tattoos dedicated to her?!? Did no one learn from WINO FOREVER?).

It's Lourdes's turn to wear the Moschino, I guess. Lourdes was predictable here because she was on the September issue of Vogue, but the lack of Madonna is interesting to me, since we know she's in New York from the VMAs. Do we think Madonna ceded the invitation, or maybe isn't vaccinated? Maybe she, too, heard about Nicki Minaj's cousin's balls (which sounds to me SO MUCH like an STD that he did not want to admit to???). ANYWAY. This gown happened and it might technically count as a pattern but too bad, and somehow the finished product is less than the sum of the workmanship.

I guess to a lot of people, the lexicon of American fashion involves a big stole, often one that is furry. (This is probably a companion piece to Camila Cabello's Kors.)

Storm's outfit is very busy. She looks a little lost in it, frankly. But if you think it also looks kind of thrown together or piecemeal...

This Valentino collection has gotten a massive amount of play. Clearly they took the temperature of the world and got it right. When we saw it, I begged people to wear their feelings after so much lockdown, AND THEY HAVE.

Sir, do NOT tempt the fire sprinkler system at this event. Or at the Met in general. (Something about making people breathe in your secondhand smoke, though, is on-the-nose about America and masking and how many people refuse to keep their Covid breath to themselves.)
