It might not be that there were tons of big red gowns, but rather that I pulled a lot of photos of the few we got. I will defend my twitchy downloading finger with my life. Jennifer Hudson wore a brand called AZ Factory, which I hadn't heard of, and it turns out that was the new project from Alber Elbaz in his post-Lanvin life -- but he died in April, four months after launching. I think it's lovely that he was honored, and in something that's dramatic and divalike and splashy straight out of an American '80s nighttime soap. (If I missed anyone, they are PROBABLY filed in somewhere else. We aren't even halfway through yet.)
