It is very hard to judge this, but... suffice to say that leather is not something I associate with gilded glamour? Maybe the feathers are meant to evoke an era where that stuff was more commonplace, but otherwise, this just sorta feels like they designed whatever they felt like designing. Which, whatever, but at least make it fit. That... should be Designing 101.

You are FRIENDS with her, Riccardo! She had her baby eight months ago, so if her boobs changed, that's plenty of time to measure her!

I honestly think she is a good sport for trying to wear this as-is. You cannot argue she didn't do her level best. The Vogue interview was at the top of the stairs, so I think that was the first time she could tell -- versus taking someone's word for it -- just how much was on the verge of showing.

This is cute enough -- she looks like a huckster who's coming to town to sell everyone a monorail to nowhere, though the jacket is the star and the pants are very much Whatever. So of COURSE the jacket is the part she doffed.

And, she self-gilded. Those are JUST boob pasties. Although, I'm so used to stuff like this from Cara -- who I think fancies herself Miley Cyrus when Miley is busy -- that my first thought here was, "Her shoe color really does not work with this."

Back to Burberry: I gather that's the Burberry logo plastered all over her gown. This has 10,000 crystals on it, and I don't even know if that includes the ones she put on her face.

This is the best of the Burberry stuff, I think, possibly because it takes the idea of their classic trench and reinterprets it (if, admittedly, in a way I associate more with perhaps Dior or Tom Ford).

Givenchy's stock has really slid -- emotionally, I mean, or reputationally -- and so it's noteworthy how underrepresented they are. (I think this began with Clare Waight Keller's tenure, because Tisci had a lot of celebrity pals who I think left with him, but Matthew Williams has not improved things.) This at least feels sparkly and slightly art deco and expensively feathered, though I can't say I think it's particularly attractive? It DID photograph better than it looked when she stopped for an interview.
