Inspired by [the Friendship Quilts that were popular on and off throughout the 1800s](https://worldquilts.quiltstudy.org/americanstory/engagement/friendship?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), her dress bears the names of 60 iconic American women, stitched in Altuzarra's handwriting along all the edges. The idea also ties into The Book of Gutsy Women, which Hillary and Chelsea wrote in 2019\.
