I'm not sure what more to say about this, except that I love how thoughtful the inspiration was. We were talking earlier about how seriously Blake Lively takes this and how hard she researches, and I think there's a lot of SJP in her, frankly.

The hat is Phillip Treacy, to which I said, "Of course," about ten seconds before she said, "Of course." OF COURSE. Who else are you going to call, other than the Ghostbusters?

This isn't quite the Gilded AGE, but it is gilded. I feel like we will make that comment a hundred times today. It's hard to judge the theme sometimes. Let's at least be grateful that her stunt bangs aren't following in the example of Evil Maid Turner on the show.

This sounded fairly last-minute, and you can tell, given that I don't think this has a ton do to with anything, other than... involving gloves? And a voluminous skirt. I truly would have believed it was Valentino had Gwen not said otherwise; however, I also didn't realize this was Gwen until she showed up at the Vogue camera. From some angles I really thought it was one of the wrestling Bella twins with a blond dye job.
