That one side ALMOST obscures her face too much? But I do love how regal this is on her. Gilded glamour, no. Good? Yes.

I did not expect a ruff.

This is a very floaty and romantic skirt (we saw it earlier, when it was faking being part of Winnie Harlow's dress -- you can see her in the back here). But this also does say 1920s to me more than anything.

She is with Hugh, who looks exactly like Hugh. I enjoy that this pic gives the impression that Hugh has ruffles coming out his back. These two and Winnie made accidental photographic magic.

This is very kitsch. It's a bit urban cowboy.

I love this, no matter WHAT era it's actually from. That deco twist feels appropriately glam for the Met, and in a way where it wouldn't necessarily be an obvious choice for any other party.

Whereas this absolutely could slot right in anywhere else. It's fine, it's jazzy, it fits like a dream, but it's also easily something she could wear to the SAGs. Then again, Riverdale is not usually represented there, so I guess shoot your shot, friend.

You know what, sure. Bertha Russell would give it a look, even if the silhouette is a bit forward for her time.

I swear to God, he said this was based in part on the concept of Casual Fridays. I guess all of this is made of leather, even though it doesn't look it, which must be... very warm. This one was in honor of the exhibit theme itself -- which is more about Americana -- rather than the imposed dress code (it's the first year they haven't been the same thing), so he and his stylist Jared Eng did a red, white, and blue thing, and decided to honor a whole other part of our culture: chilling out and being comfortable at work. You can't say they didn't put thought into it.

This is adorable on her. Anna DOES love an athlete.

She looks ethereal and great; he looks like he's going to twirl that lip hair and ask for the rent.

This is gorgeous, and apparently she is wearing an ACTUAL Gilded Age petticoat under it for authenticity. She looks amazing.

I wish I had a story behind this one; I feel like there is a reference here that I don't know. He always makes the most interesting choices.

As of this writing, he might be Armani's lone representative?!? Can it be true? Well, they chose a dashing one.
