I'll say this: Her head looks FANTASTIC -- like, that whole situation was born to be shot through a heavily Vaselined lens on a nighttime soap starring Morgan Fairchild -- and this is all convincing me that she has a lot more personality than she was able to (or allowed to) deploy on The Gilded Age. Having said that: It's crotch dressing.

I love this dress, and that she wore big earrings with it; I might've scooped and slicked back the hair?

I badly wish I had gotten to hear her talk about her inspiration. Is she dressed as a saucy robber baron? Is she the charlatan selling fake tonics? I'VE decided she's honoring the many women of that era who disguised themselves as men because it was the only way anyone would let them get shit done. (And how pencil-thin some of those disguises were, but you know, people see what's most convenient for them to see.) Let's decide that, I guess.

She's clearly pretty stoked about it. And the suit IS fun.

There were a LOT of photos of this dress where it aligned perfectly with the person behind her, making it look as if that person's gown is actually part of hers.

She said, and I quote: "It's gilded meets the future, gilded meets the galaxy, with a little bit of Ursula under the sea," and then when she realized space and underwater are kind of opposite, she laughed and said, "Either way, the shoulders are here."

I sincerely cannot tell if she's walking up the stairs or kneeling on them. I THINK the former?

The stir THIS caused was: Everyone, including Getty Images, thought it was Jared Leto. Now that I look at it, it also reminds me of Johnny Depp in that one Fantastic Beasts movie (I think). But no, it's just this guy, who -- even though it is not his fault -- might want to reconsider doing anything that could EVER get him mixed up with EITHER of those people.
