I love this. It is a DREAM. It's textured and intricate and utterly stunning, and though these are not listed in any particular order, I wanted to lead off with it to make sure it got its due.

This supposedly took 600 hours to make, and her clutch bore a cross on it with the family name at the bottom and someone's initials at each point of the cross -- B for Blake, R for Ryan, J for James, and I for Ines. I don't love the sheer strips, and in a way I think they interfere -- seriously, not EVERYTHING needs skin and leg -- but it's hard to argue with how gorgeous the overall effect still is.

This is stunning, and I'm doubly impressed because you KNOW how skeptical I am of the Monseters' ability to deliver. (They run OdlR.)

Apparently her hood was all embroidered in India, which was her way of bringing her worlds together. It's so neat. (She also apparently has talked about the dress she's getting fitted for the wedding, and being stressed out about her hat needs, so I guess she likely IS on the list.)

Dreamy.
Women in Michael Kors
Michael Kors did gorgeous work for this, mostly sticking to embroidery that he could MAYBE claim was inspired by vestments, but mostly I think he just wanted to make great gowns. And he did. These are all marvelous.

As I noted in the comments on that post, she looks like a fabulous minister in a small Italian village who likes to visit her parishioners and have a little tipple of whatever they've made on their vineyard.

She always finds a way to bring her innate coolness to the theme.
Bella Hadid
Some have suggested she and Gigi did a "saints and sinners" kind of jam, and that might well be correct. I thought Bella looked pretty cool, especially once you see that the head decorations threaded in there actually go all the way to the ground. I was pleased she embraced the theme without her nipples.

This is gorgeous, with a stained-glass effect. It was a little nipple-risky in the front, and it had a slit that didn't feel like it flowed with the rest of the gown, but overall the effect was delightful and BOTH Hadids were a pleasant surprise.

She said of this, in effect, that it was also an ode to the fact that if we're all made in God's image, then God should be proud of ALL of what He made. She also was referencing her Emmy acceptance speech: "Put on your imaginary cape and go out there and conquer the world, because the world would not be as beautiful as it is if we weren’t in it.” She told Vogue, "“Tonight this cape is not imaginary. I’m reppin’ my community ... Let’s not be afraid of who we are.” Amen.
