Poor Donna. She really doesn't know what to do about Noah/Quarterback Joe/that firefighter no one cared about/David's blouses.
But seriously, what is this? I think someone wore that at Coachella on his/her forehead.
I do, however, LOVE the back. With one exception: The logo stamp. PLEASE. Dearest Oscar, you are a genius with glamour. You don't need to sign all your work; your talent is your John Hancock. Or, to put it in Simpsons terms: If Disco Stu doesn't advertise, neither should de la Renta.
The front of this lets me down a bit, though. It feels like a cheesy prom outfit, and I can't tell if that's the styling alone, or the petal-look of the waist with that large skirt, or all of it rolled into one.
I will give Sarah Jessica Parker a pass for being so cheerful and having fun and almost always REALLY embracing the wildness of the evening. No monotone Calvin Klein shifts on her. She is a true Met Ball MVP, except for that time she showed up in that horrendous floral Valentino, and even then, it was valuable because it gave us something screeeeeeeechy to say.
"WHASSUP, YO! First one in, first one home to her DVR, y'all!"
"Hello! My word, you were wonderful in Everwood, Mr. Williams."
