I mean, this is... fine. The skirt is Whatever and the bodice is Meh and maybe in need of a trip to Planet Hoik, and there is no styling to it at all. I actually might actively dislike it now if only because I'm so disappointed in it.

From this angle, the tiered skirt makes it a little better? The problem is that if you are just ARRIVING at the event, your gown shouldn't look like you've already spent four hours dancing and prancing at it.

But good gravy, that is some nice face. Maybe it's because she played angsty Angela Chase and now is angsty Carrie Mathison, but when Claire Danes smiles that wide I catch myself heaving a sigh of relief, almost, as well as affection. Like, 'Oh, thank God, SHE'S FINE, IT'S ALL FINE."
